Five Eretz-Israeli photographs: * portrait-photo of the "Rishon LeZion", Ben-Zion Meir Hai Uziel, by Zvi Oron (Aroshkes). Jerusalem, 1939. Inserted in a paper folder, with calling card of the "Rishon LeZion" (Printed on the card: "Bevirkat Shana Tovah"). * Portrait-photo of Rabbi Yitzchak Yerucham Diskin. Mounted on cardboard, ink-stamped with the stamp pf photographer Zadok Bassan. * Group-photo, "Va'ad Adat HaBavlim" in Jerusalem, [ca. 1940s]. Mounted on cardboard (cardboard in poor condition). * Photograph of Tiberias rabbis with Torah Scrolls. Mounted on paper, with lable of "photo-studio Nesher-Glicksman", Tiberias. * Photograph of Rabbi Nissim Yehudah Danon. Mounted on cardboard. Titled on cardboard (in English) and dated, 1925. Stamped on the reverse with photographer's ink-stamp.Size and condition vary.Provenance: The Sassoon family collection.
