HaShomer VeHachoma Veod Sipurim (the guard and the wall and other stories), by Zvi Lieberman. Tel-Aviv, [1943].
Three stories bound together: Putti shomer, Choma u'Migdal, Givat HaSela'im. The stories depict children who establish settlements, preparing the soil and guard, and were composed on the background of Choma U-Migdal (Tower and Stockade) operations which occurred throughout the country several years earlier. The central figure is a boy named Puty, who appears in other stories by Zvi Lieberman. Illustrations by Joseph Bass.
