6 volumes out of 12. Stored within the volumes are newspaper clippings, notes and many articles adding information regarding various entries, inserted by Farha Sassoon.
The Jewish Encyclopedia is devoted to Judaism and the Jewish people and was first published in 1901-1906. The encyclopedia encompasses some 15,000 entries in 12 volumes being till the present day one of the most comprehensive sources of information as far as Jewish history and Judaism are concerned.
