Hadarat Melech/Pnei Melech/Kvod Melech—The Hague, London 1770-3
Three books, commentaries on the Zohar by Rabbi Shalom Ben Moses Buzaglo of Sali, the “Mikdash Melech,” on the Zohar, Hadarat Melech, Kvod Melech, Pnei Melech, and excisions from Kisseh Melech, printed at the printing shop of Moses ben Hamanoah Hirtz in the Hague, 1770-3, and published in London. Apart from the book Pnei Melech, all were printed without a cover page. These books have appended to them an introductory book for guidance of the Etz Haim, called Sur MiRah v’Asah Tov by the Admor of Zidichov, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Eichenstein, printed in Premishlan in 1893, accompanied by glosses by Rabbi Zvi Elimelech Shapira from Dinov, the “Bnei Issachar.” In this book are missing pages filled in by hand by Rabbi Shimon Englander, the Kabbalist (1874-1950) from Haifa, a descendent of Rabbi Naftali Katz, the “Smichat Khachamim,” who moved to Israel in 1933 from Nowy Targ in Galicia. Famous for his exegesis Sha’ar Shimon, on the kabbalistic text Brit Kehunat Olam. Moth damage, first page in Hadarat Melech is torn and partially missing, disconnected pages, generally ok to good condition.
