Raziel HaMalach, with glosses by the Maggid of Kozhnitz, Jozepof, 1872. Copy of the Admor of Czechiyov, Rabbi Avraham Avish Sagal Kener. Bound together with the book Toldot Adam—segulot and medicine by Rabbi Yoel Ba’al Shem.
The origin for many well-known segulot and for memorized in study. Kabbalistic illustrations and amulets for preservation of a birthing mother, and more. Having this book in the home is a tried and tested segula for saving one from plagues and fires, as explained in the cover of the book. With glosses by the Maggid of Kozhnitz. On the cover and at the end of the book are stamps of owernship “Avraham Avish Sagal Kener,” the Admor of Czechiyov, son of Rabbi Yaakov Shimshon, the father of Czechiyov chassidut in Galicia, (1894-1984) son-in-law of Rabbi Moshe Yosef from Solitza, crowned the Admor in 1929 in Botoshan, after which he moved to live in Ya’asi in Romania, where he set up his home. After WWII he moved to Israel and settled in Khalisa, Haifa, where he set up his Beit Midrash. Served as Admor for close to 40 years. His son-in-law was Rav Yaakov Yitzhak Rabinowitz, the Admor of Bialy—Ramat Aharon. 2 covers, 22cm, 32 pages. Binding is defective and partially disconnected, the cover and margins of the pages are a little damaged without damage to text, stains from moisture, generally good condition. Bound together wit the book Toldot Adam—segulot and medicines, kabbalistic drawings and names for amulets, by Rabbi Yoel Ba’al Shem, without cover and first pages. Note handwritten in the book and a list of letters in the book. Margins of the pages are a little defective with damage to text on page 1. Stains from moisture, generally good condition.
