The cover of the book says “it is a wonderful segula…for success and well-being and preservation from any bad thing.” Torat Emet, articles of chassidut on the Torah by Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heshel of Aphtha, the “Ohev Yisrael,” (1748-1825), 40 pages, first edition. Two bounds bound together in one volume, moth damage and water stains, signature of ownership on the cover of Torat Emet. Generally good condition.
