Illustrated Ketubah on paper. Persia—Isfahan. 1884.
Important Judaica. Illustrated with watercolors and gouache on apper, decorated with motifs from the monarchy in Iran—sun and lions. Verses from the Tanach, blessings for the bride and groom. Size: 77x91cm, given in a wooden frame. Folds, tears, and taping. On the back is an addition to the agreement in the ketubah in Judeo-Arabic. Generally ok condition. The item was brought to auction from a private collection.
