Hand signed letter from Israel first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion to Mrs. Hermann Struck thanking her for sending him a portrait of Lincoln.
In his letter (Hebrew) Ben Gurion expresses his admiration of Abraham Lincoln as one of the greatest men of the 19th century.
He also expresses his deep affection to Hermann Struck ("Which I had the privilege of being his friend for many years") and praises both his artistic skills and character.
The letter is written on an official stationery of Israel's Prime Minister office, imprinted with the symbol of the state of Israel, dated 30.3.52.
