An early edition of the Commentary on the Torah by Rabeinu B’Haye, one of the most important of such commentaries. Rabeinu b’Haye Bar Asher (1260-1315) was one of the greatest of the early sages of Spain.
233 [should say: 243] leaves, 29 cm. Antiquated owner signatures. A number of comments and additions in antiquated script.
Old leather binding with moth marks. Quality paper. Title page and first pages are slightly damaged without any losses and are reinforced with tape. Some moth marks. Some pages reinforced with tape. Overall fine condition.
