Two rare volumes of the Five Books of Torah printed in Lemberg (Chernowitz), 1851
Two rare volumes of the Torah (Leviticus and Numbers) with Rashi’s commentary, the Shem Ephraim by Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Margaliyot, and the Totza’ot Haim by Rabbi Haim of Boksowitz, as well as other commentaries. The title page has the place of printing listed in big letters as Chernowitz, but the book was actually printed by Avraham Yosef in Lemberg, 1858. On the back of the title page is a table of new moons for 21 years, 1855-1875.
[1], 82, [95] leaves, missing the title page of the Book of Numbers. Bindings are defective and detached, pages detached, wear, overall fair to good condition. Tear without missing bit on leaf 72. Bound with an additional title page of a Jozefof machzor.
