(The Shimloyer Rov, 1863-1944). Autograph Letter Signed written in Hebrew on letterhead to Rabbi Avraham Tzvi Friedman of Chevra Tomchei Torah, New York.
This letter discusses matters of fundraising for his yeshiva.

Shamloy (Șimleu Silvaniei, Romania): Tuesday of Parshath Vayera 1931
One of the greatest rabbis of Transylvania before the Holocaust. He established a yeshiva for prize students and wrote many works including the four-volume responsa Lechem Shlomo. He was murdered in Auschwitz.
