Fundamental and comprehensive commentary on the Mechilta. With a lengthy preface by the author, in which he writes about the special name he chose for this work, and a foreword by his father, Rabbi Moshe of Frankfurt, who was a dayan in Amsterdam, and who authored 'Be'er Heitev' on Shulchan Aruch; also known for his work on the book Menorat HaMeor.
On the title page: Part I, but no more were printed.
Owner's signature and ancient inscription.
[2], 64 leaves. Without the leaf that was added after the printing that is not found in many of the copies. 34 cm. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod 124.
Fine condition. Slight tears in the corners of the book without damage to text.
