Prepared according to the custom of the Burial Society of Halberstadt, who fasted and recited penitential prayers on the 15th of Kislev each year to atone for potential mistreatment of the deceased under their care. This date was also adopted by Burial Societies in other communities as well. For more on the activities of the elusive printer, see M.
