Joseph Haim Brenner – Post-Mortem Photograph
Post-Mortem photograph of the author Joseph Haim Brenner following his assassination in May 1921 near Jaffa. Annotated in the plate: "Victim of the riots 1.5.1921, the author Y. H. Brenner" and signed in the plate by the photographer Zvi Aroshkes (Oron): "Photographer Aroshkes Jaffa Tel-Aviv Eretz-Israel". 8X13.5 cm. Good condition. Divided on the reverse for use as a postcard.
