Title page contains signature of the author's grandson: “Meshulam HaKohen Tzedek, grandson of author”. The Ga’on Rabbi Meshulam HaKohen (1758-1809), author of Kitzur Tosfot Yom Tov and Pitchei Niddah, served as Av Beit Din of Zorbena, Bolechów, Kyritz (succeeding his brother Ga’on Kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Katz, author of Brit Kehunat Olam), and was rabbinical authority in city of Lvov of Chutz La’Ir congregation. His father, Rabbi Yosef, Av Beit Din of Etnia was son of Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik son of Rabbi Betzalel son of author Rabbi Naftali Katz.
Damaged incomplete copy: [1], 3-37, [1] leaves. (Originally: [2], 37, [1] leaves). 20 cm. Fair-poor condition, damaged and worn leaves (with missing text), stains. Elegant leather binding.
Authorization of expert attached, identifying signature and signed rabbi.
