Desk Inkwell Stand - Created by Moshe Murro
Desk stand for inkwells, created by Moshe Murro. [1920s/30s?].
Clay / Terra Cotta. Signed: "M. Murro. Jerusalem, Bezalel" (embossed).
Designed as a reclining camel, with a fancy saddle on its hump, its head is turning gracefully upwards. In front are two niches for placing inkwells, with brass bases (removable). Attached to a massive wooden base.
Length: 28.5 cm, height: 18.5 cm. Good condition. Minor damages.
