Haggadah Harizia – Casablanca – Protest-Text in Jewish-Arabic
Haggadah Harizaia, by BM"D(?). [Published by Avraham Hadida, Casablanca, Amar-Elbaz printing press], [1940s?]. Arabic in Hebrew letters.
A story in Jewish-Arabic in the Passover Haggadah format. In the book "Bnei Melachim" ("History of the Hebrew Book in Morocco", Jerusalem, 1989, no. 573) the authors state that the text is a protest-text, composed, perhaps, by rabbi David Ben Mas'ud Danino (BM"D), against Amram from the city of Hariz (South Morocco); demanding him to be dismissed from his position as director of the home for the elderly in Casablanca.
