Sefer Tzitz Ha'Kodesh, by Rabbi Zvi Michel Shapira - Sections that have Never been Printed
Rabbi Yehoshua Zvi Michel Shapira was one of the exceptional geniuses of Jerusalem. He studied with Rabbi Moshe Leib Zilberberg of Kutna, author of "Zayit Ra'anan" and was very close to him. He was known for his great diligence and abstinence from worldly pleasure to purify his body and soul. He made efforts to his greatness in the Torah and when he was required to publish halachic responses, he did so anonymously.
In his book "Zvi La'Tzaddik" (which was edited after his death by his disciple Rabbi Harlap) several of his letters were printed. The book was approbated by the rabbis of the Land of Israel including Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Baharan, Rabbi Yosef Chaim Spnnenfeld and Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook, who praise his piety and genius. At the beginning of the above book, Rabbi Harlap added a chapter describing his rabbi's image.

Before us are compositions that have never been printed! They are handwritten by his disciple, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Weisfish.

The importance of these writings is demonstrated by the following story:
On Monday, the 10th of Cheshvan 1915, when Rabbi Harlap was standing in prayer beside the Western Wall, he had a holy vision. He heard a Divine voice which revealed to him sublime things regarding his soul and the souls of his rabbis.
Rabbi Harlap wrote the things down in his diary. Parts of it were printd in various sbooks. Some of the things he had heard referred to his rabbi, Rabbi Zvi Michel Shapira and were published in the book "Zvi La'Tzaddik" (second edition, 1952).
"It is said of him in Heaven that he has yet to edit the writings his rabbi had left since his rabbi was a great man in all he his sayings and his prayers had immediate effect and he had studied Torah Lishmah and he has left true Torah Novellae … and he must edit them since after he edits all his rabbis writings … his rabbi will stand beside him and he will reach the level of his rabbi…"

Following is a description of the compositions:
A. Collection of notebook leaves, copied in preparation for the printing of the composition "Tzitz Ha'Kodesh" by Rabbi Zvi Michel Shapira, handwritten by his disciple, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Weisfish. On many of his novellae, Rabbi Shapira writes in his modesty: "so it seems in my humble opinion".
The leaves deal with the laws of Passover (printed in the book "Tzitz Ha'Kodesh, section B Siman 10).
The handwritten theoretical glosses added by the copier himself were not printed in the book. In addition, several passages that appear in the leaves before us - which most likely belong to "Tzitz Ha'Kodesh" as well - were never printed! In these passages, the author presents Divrei Torah by his friends, the rabbis of Jerusalem.
About 40 pp.
Condition: Fair-Good. Wear and tear.

B. A similar notebook - a copying of "Tzitz Ha'Kodesh". On the first leaf, a long handwritten gloss by the copier, Rabbi Weisfish. Apparently, this notebook has never been printed!
Among others, the author presents words of "my close friend Reb Yehoshua of Vilnius".
32 pp. the end of the notebook is missing.
Condition: Very Good.

C. An additional similar notebook - a copying of "tzitz Ha'Kodesh". Has never been printed.
24 pp.
Condition: Very Good.
D. Handwritten volume which includes several long essays on the laws of Passover - Hilchot Chametz U'Matzah, enjoying Chametz, Bedikat Chametz and more.
In several places, the author refers to his novellae which was printed elsewhere. He also presents novellae of his rabbi, the author of "Zayit Ra'anan", Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Leib Zilberberg.
The novellae is handwritten by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Weisfish. It is most likely that they have never been printed.
103 leaves written on both sides.

At the end of the notebook, leaves with handwritten novellae by Rabbi Yehoshua Levi (the director of The National Center for Taharat Ha'Mishpacha) - novellae on the Talmud and various issues.

In addition, a letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Weisfish to "Ha'Gaon Moharim" (most likely, Rabbi Harlap), in response to a letter he had sent him. At the beginning of the letter he writes, "I ask to take the time to clarify a question I have been asked …". Later in the letter, he requests to pray for his son Mendel, to be helped by God.
