On the forsazt, a rare handwritten inscription by the author: "Ahavat Chessed is lacking leaves 25 to 33". At the bottom of the page, five additional interesting inscriptions: "Sameach Zevulun", "Ve'Talmudo Be'yado", "Nafshecha Me'od", "Torah Ve'Gemach" another inscription is unclear. It is unclear what these inscriptions refer to. It is possible that they served as a reminder or the like.

It is common knowledge that the "Chafetz Chaim" used to examine and proofread the books he had published in order to see if anything was lacking or damaged. After his examination, he would write the word "Proofread" on the book. Such books are common. However, before us is a book that was found lacking and indeed, the Chafetz Chaim wrote it was lacking so as not to cause a misleading sale of the book.

Rabbi Ysrael Meir Ha'Cohen of Radun (1839 –1933) was an influential rabbi of the Mussar movement, a Posek and ethicist whose works continue to be widely influential in Jewish life. Author of the books "Chafetz Chaim" - his first book which deals with the Biblical laws of gossip and slander, "Ahavat Chessed" - On the commandment of lending money to the needy, the value of being kind to one another and various ways to do so, "Mishna Berura" - an important and widely used commentary, consisting of six volumes, on the Orach Chaim section of the Shulchan Aruch and "Machneh Yisrael" - On the minimum and manner of observing the Jewish commandments for a soldier in the army.
Rabbi Kook, who used titles sparsely called him "Holy".
