Xiaoping is considered the architect of the policies that opened China to foreign investment and global market, transforming the country into one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. Signed colour 7.5 x 5 photograph by Xiaoping, in Chinese characters, and by Helmut Kohl (1930-2017) Chancellor of Germany 1982-88, the image showing both statesmen seated in a full length pose.
