Dumas asks his correspondent if he can supply a document he is looking for to complete his articles, stating in part `On m´a écrit que vous avez une collection de la Commune de Paris. J´ai besoin d´une lettre sur le rappel des exilés que j´ai publiée dans le journal. Serez-vous assez bon pour permettre qu´on la copiat…´ (“I have been told that you have a collection of the Paris Commune. I need a letter on the recall of exiled which I published in the newspaper.
