Sellers thanks his correspondent for their letter although regrets that he won't be able to accept the invitation to visit Iceland in December 'as I shall be in the middle of directing a film in Italy', and concludes by hoping that he will be able to visit in the future. Bogarde thanks his correspondent for their letter ('even though it brought me a great disappointment!') and continues to remark 'I should so much have liked to come out to see you on the 2^nd of December, but unfortunately I shall be in the middle of a film at this time, and it would be quite impossible.
