KEATON BUSTER: (1895-1966) American film comedian, Academy Award winner. A very fine vintage signed and inscribed sepia 8 x 10 photograph, the image depicting 'the great stone face' in an almost lifelike head and shoulders pose as he looks directly ahead with a typical deadpan expression on his face. Photograph by George Hurrell and bearing his blindstamp to the lower border and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer credit stamp to the verso. Signed by Keaton in purple fountain pen ink to the image, partially across a darker area although reasonably legible. Signed photographs by Keaton of this exceptional quality are rare and desirable.
