FILM PRODUCERS: Dino De Laurentiis (1919-2010) Italian-American film producer. T.L.S., Dino, on one side of his personal printed correspondence card, n.p. (Beverly Hills, California), 1st May 1979, to Tessa Kennedy. De Laurentiis thanks his correspondent for a lovely dinner and beautiful hospitality and also forwards pictures (no longer present) of a house in Cap Martin that is for sale. Accompanied by the original envelope; Jennings Lang (1915-1996) American film producer. A.L.S., Jennings, one page, 8vo, Antibes, n.d., to Tessa [Kennedy], on the printed stationery of the Hotel du Cap. Lang writes, in full, 'We saw you not enough! Stay pretty, bright and fun! Much love from Monica'; Steven Bach (1938-2009) American film producer, head of worldwide productions for United Artists studios. T.L.S., Steve, one page, slim 4to, n.p., 15th June 1981, to Tessa Kennedy. Bach states that he has tried without success to reach his correspondent on the telephone, adding 'but I ran into one of your sons the other night who told me you would be in Germany, so I thought I would drop you a line', further explaining that he will be in New York from 20th June for three or four days to close out an apartment and enquiring 'If there is something you think you might like to buy, perhaps we can coordinate then, either in person or using Mr. Roger as a go-between'; Pierre Rissient (1936-2018) French film producer and assistant director, associated with the Cannes Film Festival and an important promoter of the works of Francis Ford Coppola, Quentin Tarantino, Jane Campion and others. A.L.S., Pierre Rissient, to one side of a large (9 x 7) colour postcard featuring an image of the cover of a French edition of a work by Li Yizhe, n.p. (Chicago), n.d., to Elliott Kastner. Rissient states that he is in Chicago, also staying at the Tremont Hotel, and suggests that he and Kastner meet, adding that he will be leaving on Saturday morning. Some slight creasing to Lang's letter, otherwise VG, 4
