CHAPLIN CHARLES: (1889-1977) English film comedian, Academy Award winner. T.L.S., Chas Chaplin, one page, 4to, Los Angeles, California, to Alec Wegoder, on the attractive printed stationery of the Charlie Chaplin Music Publishing Co. and featuring two vignettes, one of the youthful Chaplin in a head and shoulders pose. Chaplin acknowledges receipt of his correspondent's interesting letter and has pleasure in sending a photograph (no longer present), concluding 'Again thanking you for your interest and support to my screen efforts'. A light band of minor discoloration to the four edges, evidently caused by previous framing, and one small, neat split to the left edge of the central fold. About VG
