A RARE PERSIAN PRAYER SCROLL, 18/19TH CEN, VERY LONG
A rare and incredibly long text of the Quran or Persian prayer scroll reaching the astonishing length of 13 feet (over four meters). A very small script handwritten on thin paper probably of Samarkand origin. The name of the calligrapher is hard to read but it appears to be Ibn Hajji. The scroll is rolled very tightly.

Condition: Some small tears and old repairs in places. Text well preserved throughout. Expected yellowing of paper due to age.
