A RARE ISLAMIC FARSI PERSIAN POETIC VERSE BY HAFEZ, 18TH C.
A rare 18th-century Islamic Farsi (Persian) poetic verse by the famed poet Hafez (1325-1390). Written with a sophisticated version of the Nastaliq script. Gilt floral motifs at the center edges. Most probably a presentation piece.
Provenance: a New York private collection.

Condition: Good. Tear down the right edge of the writing. Three small worm holes in the upper left.
