AN IMPERIAL RUSSIAN GILT-SILVER AND NIELLO DRINKING BOWL, 20TH CEN.
A stunning gilt silver and niello bowl from the workshop of renowned silversmith Andrei Adler. The bowl is beautifully decorated with floral niello-work along its exterior, held within a border depicted as draping ribbons with bows at each connection. The rim of the bowl is stamped with the initials of Andrei Adler as well as the Moscow Kokoshnik mark.
