A LARGE RUSSIAN PORCELAIN EASTER EGG, 19/20 CC.
Large Russian Easter egg of porcelain and painted with gilt and green and white paint. The top and bottom are painted like white budding flowers with gilt bordering and accents. The main body is painted with a lime green background and dark green foliage decoration. The egg rests on a flat bronze holder with a rod through the body to keep the egg upright.
