A SILVER MOUNTED NIELLO RIDING CROP OR WHIP, 19TH CEN.
A Caucasian riding crop, a type of nagaika. A silver-mounted niello handle decorated with typical geometric patterns and floral designs detailing a silver handle with a metal chain passed through it for carrying. Concludes with a pommel end. Features a soft braided leather whip.Second half of the 19th century.
