A NAZI GERMAN PRE-WAR LUFTWAFFE OBSERVER BADGE
A Nazi German Pre-War Luftwaffe Observer badge made of silver nickel in the oval form with a silver-plated oakleaf wreath around the outside. The middle of the wreath has a national eagle clutching a swastika in the middle of the outside wreath. Marked on verso with the manufacturer F. W. Assmann hallmark. The reverse has s pin-back construction. Approved in November 1935 and first issued on 26 March 1936.
Dimensions: L: 2 3/16 in., (5.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good, some oxidation on the obverse
