CHARLES W. LINDBERG
(1920-2007) United States Marine Corps corporal who was a member of the patrol that captured the top of Mount Suribachi and raised the first U.S. flag on the island on February 23, 1945. Iconic signed b/w photograph, 8 x 10 inches, depicting the US Marines raising the US flag. Signed in black ink 'Charles W. Lindberg.'
